Our process

We’ll get to know each other, and talk about your business and goals. We’ll cover recent performance and the dynamics of your industry. We’ll also discuss valuation to make sure we’re in the same ballpark.

If we’re both excited about moving forward and your business meets our investment criteria, we’ll discuss and send a non-binding Letter of Intent. The LOI outlines our agreement in principle to purchase the business, stating the proposed price, terms, and other material deal points.

After we receive a signed LOI, we’ll begin a more detailed business review. We’ll partner on a plan to engage with management, employees, customers, and suppliers.

Celebration is in order! We’ll finalize documentation and preparations for ownership change.

After closing, we will implement our transition plan to minimize disruption for employees, customers, and suppliers. During the transition, our focus will be on learning the business by speaking with employees, customers, and suppliers.
